Letter written by Mrs. Nesbit, 1906, for Miner Maltby, aged 90.
"Mr. F. A. Maltby. Dear Sir - My grandfather's name was Johnathan Maltby he moved from Salem, Mass. in the year of 1800. I will be 90 years old the 15th of Oct. next. Chester Maltby youngest dau. and my self are the only ones left. I would like to have you write to me where Samuel Maltby's children are and I will write to you again. Yours Respt. Syracuse Post Standard, Jan. 8, 1914. "Minor Maltby, 97, a resident of Central New York nearly all his life, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Nesbit, at Jordan yesterday afternoon. He had been active in the management of his farm until the past summer.
Funeral services will be held at the home of his daughter at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be at Weedsport.
