VIII.3645. Irvin W.** Molby, born Jan. 17, 1886 (Franklin H. 7, John 6, Chester 5, Jonathan, 4, Sam. 3, Sam. 2, Wm. 1). Mar. Bessie Belousek. She was born in Gage County, Nebraska, on March 15, 1897. Her parents were Henry and Anna Belousek. Irvin was the fourth child of Franklin H. and Ida Z. Molby; he was the first child born to them in Kansas. Irvin grew up and lived principally in the locality of his birth near Greenleaf, Kansas. His grave is beside the graves of his father and mother on their lot in Maplewood Cemetery about six miles north and east of Greenleaf. This cemetery is on the homestead of Irvin's uncle, Clinton D. Molby. The cemetery is apparently named for a cemetery in Onondaga County, New York, from which location the uncles and aunts of Irvin Molby, and his parents, came to Kansas.
Subsequently, Irvin's widow mar. a Mr. McLeod and as of 1966 they live some eighty miles southwest of Kansas City.
Note: A correction. Irvin's sister, Helen, pointed out an error in the manuscript on page 666 saying that his name is not Irvin W. but Irvin Franklin. Likewise, she pointed out that their father's name was Franklin Harrison and not Franklin K.
Child of Irvin Franklin and Bessie B. Molby: IX. gen. Lowell Henry Molby, born March 26, 1920. ---- IX. gen. Lowell Henry Molby, b. March 26, 1920, mar. May 8, 1957, Kathleen Elvera Pearson, b. October 13, 1921. She is the daughter of Carl Elmer Pearson, born May 22, 1898, and Eileen Elvera (Carlson) Pearson, born November 5, 1899. Kathleen's parents were mar. November 24, 1920. Child of Lowell Henry and Kathleen Elvera Molby: X. gen. Suzanna Tanya Molby, born June 21, 1959. Lowell H. Molby was for some time in Hawaii following his profession as a technologist in electronics. He has for a number of years taught at the Central Technical Institute in Kansas City. His present address is 775 Manorcrest, Kansas City, Kansas.
