VIII.2859. Clinton H. Maltby, b. 1849 (Sidney 7, Allen 6, Jehiel 5, Dan.4, Dan.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. Martha Mellinger, who was some 18 months his junior. He d. in Ontario, Calif. She d. Dec. 25, 1941, Du Boistown, Pa. Bur. Ontario, California. He lived in Dayton, Ohio, most of his life.

            Harry Maltby lived in Williamsport, Pa., and d. there.
            His wife also deceased.  They had 2 or 3 children.  The
            son's name is Courtney (10).

VIII.2861. Elmer Ellsworth Maltby, b. Aug. 25, 1862, Genetteville, O. (Sidney 7, Allen 6, Jehiel 5, Dan.4, Dan.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). His mother died when he was four years old. At age of six he was left with a sister of his mother. At fourteen he started out in the world alone. Mar. Sept. 25, 1889, Kittie Calver Cook, b. Apr. 4, 1870. He d. about 1895, bur. in Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.

VIII.2862. Lewis C. Maltby, b. ---- (Sidney 7, Allen 6, Jehiel 5, Dan.4, Dan.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. a Miss Thompson. He lived most of his life in Washington, D.C. About 1930, retired and moved to Tampa, Florida, where he d. in 1943. "One dau. and 3 sons."
