VI.893. Sarah Russell Maltby, b. Aug. 5, 1832, Taunton, Mass. (Erastus 5, Benj.4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). She mar. Nov. 22, 1855, Charles Loughead Lovering, b. Aug. 31, 1833; d. Apr. 30, 1908. She d. ca. 1892 (or Apr. 29, 1897). It was Mrs. Lovering who wrote of being at an exhibition in Brussels where she met a Miss Maltby, whose father T. James Maltby, was British Vice-Consul there. She also men- tioned seeing in a newspaper, English, that "Dillon, the great Irish leader, was to speak at Maltby."

VI.896. Edward Benjamin Maltby, b. July 7, 1841, Taunton, Mass. (Erastus 5, Benj.4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. Oct. 17, 1879, Mrs. Julia Keep Mackay. He was Pres. of Boston Electric Light Co.; a director of Edison Electric Illuminating Co., Vice-Pres. of New Eng- land Cotton Yarn Co., Vice-Pres. Copper Range Consolidated Co., and director of many other large companies. He resided at 431 Beacon Street, Boston, Mass., and d. Oct. 26, 1902, aged 61, of paralysis.

VI.897. Dr. Benjamin Maltby Fowler, b. Jan. 22, 1825 (Eliza Rebecca 5, Benj.4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. in 1847, Harriet Elizabeth Jowett, who d. Mar. 22, 1849, in childbirth. Mar. (2) in 1850, Mary Payne. He was in good, regular practice at Durham, Ct. She was of Armenia, N.Y. He d. Sept. 4, 1858.
