V. 308. Lucretia Maltbie, (prob. b. ca. 1779/80) bapt. Dec. 7, 1783 (Zach.(4), Dan.(3), Dan.(2), Wm.(1)). Mar. May 5, 1798, Norfolk, Ct., Nathaniel Hoyt. (Connecticut Marriages give this name as "Holt." It is an error and should read "Hoit or Hoyt"). Norfolk, Ct. Records give the following: "Norfolk, May 5, 1798, Nathaniel Hoit."

Notes taken from "Annals of Winchester, Conn.", kindly sent by Mrs. H. W. Carter of Norfolk, to whom I am indebted for very complete and accurate records of Maltbies of Norfolk, wrote:

"Nathaniel Hoyt of Dunbury, owned land in the Danbury Quarter in Winchester, Conn. In 1811 the church voted him and Lucretia his wife, a letter of dismission to the Church in Locke, N.Y., where he removed."

"Deacon Micajah Hoyt, son of Nathaniel, owned and lived on the farm in Danbury Quarter, until 1844, when he removed, as is believed, to Locke, N.Y. He was chosen Deacon of the Winchester Church in 1825. He was born Dec. 12, 1770. Mar. Nov. 1, 1792, Esther Trow- bridge, b. Oct. 22, 1773, and had 8 children.

Zeni W. Hoyt, son of Nathaniel, lived in Danbury Quarter.

Left town in 1803.

Nathaniel Hoyt, Jr. lived in Danbury Quarter from 1799 to 1802.

In 1816 the Church sold him a letter to the church in Litchfield,

Ct. where he then resided."

V.309. Molly Rose Maltbie, prob. b. ca. 1781; bapt. Dec.7,1783, Norfolk, Ct. (Zach.4, Dan.3, Dan.2, Wm1). (Norfolk Church Rec. Vol. III. Communicants) "1799. Molly Maltbie, removed to Locke, N.Y." She mar. Jedidiah Tucker, of Eden, N.Y. At least one

    child.

(She was mother of Lucuis Harvey Maltbie and grandmother of Mr. Birdsey Lucuis Maltbie who published the "Maltby-Maltbie Family History." Mr. Maltbie had a double line of Maltbie ancestry descending from Daniel (4) brother of Zacheus (4)).

V. 310. Sabra (Salrina), bp. May 5, 1787, Norfolk, Ct. (Zach.(4), Dan.(3), Dan.(2), Wm.(1)). Mar. Feb. 12, 1812, Jesse Bradley Bar- tholomew, at Bryden, N.Y. He d. in Iona Co., Mich., Jan. 1846, b. Mar. 8, 1788. Memb. of Presbyterian Church. He was a farmer in Iona. (Ref. Bartholomew Gen., p. 180)
