Hart Family Molby Data

Eber Hart, Jr., was born in Rhode Island - no way of learning where his father was born. Pardon Hart was given as born in New York State in the 1850 Van Buren Census, and in Rhode Island in the 1855 Van Buren Census, which is the last record we have of him.

1820 Camillus Census. Pardon Hart reported as head of a household.

	1 male - under 10 (Truman) 1 female - 16 to 26 (Polly)
	1 " - 26 to 45 (Pardon) 1 " - 45 & up ( ? )
	1 " - 45 & up ( ? )

These two old people appear again in the 1830 census, aged 70-80 and 60-70, but do not appear after that. I wonder who they could be.

Do not find any further record of Pardon Hart and his family in this locality.

It appears that Truman Hart left Van Buren soon after 1840, and went to Hillsdale Co., Mich., while yet a young man. His descendants say that the children of Truman and Susannah Hart were all born in Michigan near Reading, the first one in August, 1842. They lived within a mile or two from Reading the remainder of their lives. (Van Buren, N.Y., 1850 census to the contrary.)
