Note by the compiler:

The surname Hart seems to be widespread. There are now many persons of this name to be found in directories of various kinds, as The American Genealogical Index, etc. I refer, in particular, to the latest single volume issue of the directory, American Men of Science. In this book are thirty-four biographic accounts of scientists by name of Hart. Their scholastic attainments are very high, as indicated by the positions which they occupy, the degrees after their names, researchers, university professors in many branches of science, including medicine: an excellent showing.

Information on descendants of Truman & Susannah Hart supplied by:
The Misses Susan E. & Grace E. Arthur, 6 Waban Street, Wellesley 81, Mass.

Charlotte O. (Mrs. Edgar) Gray, Petoskey, Mich. (Charlotte Octavia Whitney). Miss Grace Whitney, c/o Mr. Wells W. Whitney, RR#2, Hillsdale, Michigan.

She copied these records from the family Bible, which is not complete.
She does not know where Truman & Susannah were born, but the rest were
	all born in Reading.
