Addition to p. 34.

An old resident of Baldwinsville, N.Y., said that Ida Z. Ingoldsby, wife of Franklin H. Molby, was a granddaughter of Eber Ingoldsby and Zeuviah ----. Eber Ingoldsby was born in 1787, the son of John Ingoldsby, b. May 15, 1753. It is said that John went to the Battle of Lexington with a sawed off shotgun. John's father, Ebenezer Ingoldsby, was a Captain in the Colonial Army in the Revolutionary War. Eber, b. 1787, is thus a grandson of Ebenezer. The name Ingoldsby appears with several spellings.

The D.A.R. Lineage Books, Vol. 75, p. 186: Mrs. Julie Ingoldsby Taylor, b. in Van Buren, N.Y., gives the line of lineage for herself through Captain Ebenezer Ingoldsby and his son, John Ingoldsby. It should be easy for Ida's descendants to prove their lineage. Mrs. Taylor gives herself as granddaughter of Eber Ingoldsby, 1787-1850, and Zeuriah Phipps, 1797-1859, his second wife, m. 1819.

Apparently Zeuriah Phipps is the same as Zeuviah ----, wife of Eber Ingoldsby, above. Helen (Molby) Jorgenson, daughter of Ida Z. (Ingoldsby) Molby, believes that the name Zeuviah came from Ida's grandmother, mother of Warren Ingoldsby. She says that Ida named her son Eber John Molby in honor of his great uncle Eber Ingoldsby and his grandfather John Molby. Helen was named in honor of her aunt, Helen Ingoldsby. 1790 Census of U.S. Heads of Families in Mass.
