Almira J. Molby, b. Apr. 25, 1839; d. Feb. 27, 1891, in Reading, Mich.;
m. Jan. 25, 1860, Malden Meigs, son of Phineas Meigs, Jr. & Lydia
Gardner, his third wife. He was born Feb. 24, 1835, and died June
15, 1914. Both buried Reading, Michigan. Service in Civil War.

Irvin John Molby, b. Nov. 25, 1857; d. June 24, 1934; m. March 24, 1880,
Rose Etta Haynes, adopted daughter of Col. Thaddeus Haynes of Bald-
winsville, N.Y., and wife, Harriet Haynes. Her father, --- Warner,
died before her birth, and her mother, Eunice Warner, died about
1859-60. Irvin and Rose died at Creston, Iowa; graves at Creston.
"John Molby was a farmer. His farm was on lot No. 19 on the East Dead Creek road in the town of Van Buren. This was the farm next south to the Harvey Walker farm. Harvey's daughter, Erma Walker Krafft, is the present owner of the John Molby property.
The southern end of the East Dead Creek road has been cut off and is now part of truck route 31. This leaves the old East Dead Creek road a very short one. John Molby's old farm and Harvey Walker's farm are now on route 31 in the town of Van Buren." L.E.V.
After John's death his family remained in this section for a number of years, but finally they all went west. Most of the children moved to Kansas between 1870 and 1890.
Records checked by F.A.M. from Clarissa Molby's Bible, now in the possession of Mrs. Helen Jorgenson (grandchild of John); from tombstones; newspapers; and studies of Miss L.E. Voorhees of Baldwinsville.
Clarissa's Bible is in excellent condition and contains records of value from her grandfather, John Cordell, and his children, among them the mother of Clarissa.
