JONATHAN MALTBY (OR MOLBY)

OF SALEM AND OF CAMILLUS, NY

will be held at her late home in Van Buren this (Thursday) afternoon at 1:00 o'clock, Rev. George Lyman Ford officiating. Burial will be made in Riverview cemetery. Mrs. Maltby is survived by one son, Herman Maltby of Solvay, three brothers, Albert, Eli and Frank Howe of Van Buren, and two step-sons, Fred Maltby of Port Chester and Thaddeus Maltby of this village.

   At a hospital in New York City Monday, September 21, 1914, Frederick H. 

(D.) Maltby of Port Chester, N.Y, aged 56 years. Funeral services were held at his home in Port Chester Tuesday, the remains being brought to Baldwinsville and burial made in Riverview cemetery Wednesday. Besides hiswife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Christfield and Miss Satie Maltby, and one son, George Maltby of Port Chester, and two brothers, Thaddeus and Herman.

At her home in Amber, N.Y., this (Thursday) morning, March 3, 1949, Mrs. Lizzie Maltby Amidon, wife of John Amidon, former Baldwinsville residents. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Earl of Little Utica and Rex Amidon of Amber; a daughter, Mrs. Olive Amidon of Marcellus; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held the home Saturday afternoon. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.

   At his home after a long illness in Amber, N.Y., Wednesday, July 16, 1952, John E. (Pete) Amidon, aged 79 years, a resident of Baldwinsville for many years.  He retired nine years ago as a buoy light tender for the New York State Barge canal.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Olive Cummings of Marcellus; two sons, Earl of Cicero and Rex Amidon of Amber; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Utley and Norris funeral home, Marcellus.  Interment was made in Riverview cemetery.

   Richard M. Sears of Cazenovia married Nov. 2, 1935, Miss Ruth Maltby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman S. Maltby in the Methodist Episcopal church of this village, by Rev. Lester Schaff of Homer, assisted by Rev. W. C. Chamberlain of the local church.
