   Thaddeus Haynes Maltby, b. Dec. 27, 1855; d. Aug. 24, 1930, in Bald-
      winsville, N.Y.; m. Sept. 30, 1875, Emma Paddock, dau. of Isaac
      Paddock and Susan Marshall.  She was born May 21, 1858, and died
      Mar. 31, 1938, in Van Buren.  Both buried Baldwinsville, N.Y.
   Frederick Dan Maltby, b. Apr. 10, 1858; d. Sept. 21, 1914, in a New
      York City hospital; m. Mar. 17, 1880, Carrie Snyder, dau. of
      Joseph Snyder and Rosa Gardner.  She was born about 1863 in
      Lysander and died   .  Lived at Port Chester, N.Y.  He buried in
      Baldwinsville, N.Y.
   Herman Maltby, b. Apr. 15, 1875; d. Aug. 22, 1940, in Syracuse Gener-
      al hospital; m. June 19, 1895, Irene Lillie, dau. of William S.
      Lillie and Chloe Woodard.  She was born Feb. 5, 1874, in the town
      of Cicero, near North Syracuse, N.Y.  They were divorced and
      Herman may or may not have married a woman named Della ----.  He
      is buried in Baldwinsville, N.Y.

Lyman Maltby was a farmer. His farm of 135 acres was on Lot 11 in the town of Van Buren on the East Dead Creek road. He built the present house, which is of brick, about 1870. They moved in before it was fin ished as his wife, then ill, had so looked forward to living in their handsome new home.

His will dated June 24, 1881, and probated July 20, 1881, leaves all his property to his wife, Charlotte, and his three sons, Thaddeus, Fred erick and Herman, the latter a minor. Charlotte was to have the house and about sixty acres of land, and at her death this property was to go to their son Herman. The rest of the farm was divided between Thaddeus and Frederick.

Lyman Maltby, his two wives and his three children, are all buried in Riverview cemetery, Baldwinsville, N.Y.*

   Lizzie Maltby, born July 4, 1876; d. March 3, 1949, at her home in
      Amber, N.Y.; m. John E. (Pete) Amidon, who died July 16, 1952,
