He spent much of his life in the Supervising Architect's Office in Washington, D.C. For a time he was an architect in Detroit. His wife is living in Washington, D.C. (1954) He b. Hillsdale, Mich; d. Beallsville, Maryland. Grace Isabelle Kelley, b. Elgin, Ill. Mar. 9, 1875, d. Nov. 6, 1965.

He was later an executive in the offices of Pierce, Butler and Pierce, of Syracuse, N.Y., and manager of the eastern office in New York City, and later in business for himself. His home was at Richmond Hill, L.I.

Married at Newton, Ks., Sept. 17, 1907, Leona Houghton, dau. of Austin E. and Eva K. (Stem) Houghton. She died June 30, 1944. Bur. Linn, Kansas. He mar. (2) February 18, 1946, at Nashville, Tenn., Frances R. Wilson. She died October 26, 1950. Buried Baldwin, Kansas. No children. Her grandfather Wilson with his family moved from Southern Indiana one hundred years ago (1854) to Jasper Co., Iowa. (Biographical sketch from American Men of Science, Aug. 1954)
