wrote: "As near as I can remember Francis was connected with a large stationery firm in Cincinnati, and made important inventions connected with the system of "loose leaf" accounting. After his death his brother, or brother-in-law, sold his interest in this invention for about $20,000, turning over to his widow and her children at least $17,000."

"I knew cousin Frank very well as he was a frequent visitor at out home. He was the head of an ice and coal company in Cincinnati. After selling that he and cousin Hattie (his wife) moved to Florida where he was interested in a fruit cannery. He had no children." (You will see Alta (Maltby) Austin thought he was of a stationery firm. Looks as though she had got him mixed up with some other cousin.)
