VIII.3221. Albert Maltby (alias Robert Boyd), b. Sept. 19, 1910/11 (John P.7, Henry 6, Sam.R.5, Zach.4, Dan.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). "This child was adopted by the Boyd family soon after his father's death and has not been allowed to associate with, or know of, Maltby family relatives. Name was changed to "Robert Boyd, on adoption."

Duntisbourne Abbots Rectory, nr. Cirencester, Gloucestershire, Eng. She was a member of M.A. I remember her as a child when she used, with her brother, "Billy," to spend the summer at her grandfather's shore home at "Savin Rock," West Haven, Conn.

Note. Believe that after the death of her husband she returned to the States. One of the above daughters mar. a United States Naval officer, Lieut. W. W. Bayley and had at least one child.

In 1931, Lieut. Bayley was on the "U.S.S. Texas" stationed March 16, at Balboa "to witness the Maneuvers of the Combined Fleets in the Pacific, off Panama."

Also on the "Texas" at this time was Lieut. Taylor, husband of Dorothy Dogget, a descendant of Jonathan (2) Maltby.
