at Frankfort, N.Y. At one time of Ilion, N.Y. He enlisted in 1st N.Y. Light Artillery, Co. A. Served three years and 9 months. REceived honorable discharge. They moved to Kansas soon after his 2nd marriage. He d. Dec. 24, 1899, bur. at Goffs, Kansas. His widow moved to Okla- homa in 1902 and d. May 7, 1919, bur. at Sharon, Oklahoma.

VII.2127. Daniel Webster Maltby, b. Apr. 29, 1837 (Isaac M.6, Morris M. 5, Sam.4, Sam.3, Sam.2, Wm.1). Mar. Jan. 8, 1868, Celia O. Crane, in New York. He was in the Civil War. His widow mar. Ex-Gov. Waite of Colorado. She kindly furnished these records. In 1915 she resided in Aspen, Colorado.

Jan. 16, 1865, Aletha Hendricks, at Chambersburgh, Pa., b. at Lightersburg, Va., July 21, 1849; d. June 30, 1898. He was in the Civil War. Enlisted 1st New York Light Artillery, Co. A. Served 3 years, 9 mo. Rec. Honorable Discharge. He d. at Atwood, Kansas, Mar. 7, 1919. He grad. Univ. of N.Y.City at age of 21.

"William Stedman Maltby was born in Oneida Co., N.Y., Feb. 5th, 1840, and died in Kansas March 7, 1919, aged 79 years, 1 month, and 2 days.

He graduated from the University of New York at the age of twenty- one. He enlisted in the first New York Light Artillery Company A., United States Army and served three years and nine months when he re- ceived an Honorable Discharge. He uas united with the Episcopalian
