VII.1295. Marietta Maltby, b. May 9, 1839 (Sherman 6, Jos.5, Jos.4, Jos.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. Jan.1, 1861, Charles Viall Harmon, b. Apr. 19, 1836, at Edwards, St. Lawrence Co., N.Y. He was in the Civil War; in the battle of Winchester, a son of Ebenezer Lord and Phila (Viall) Harmon. He d. Aug. 16, 1903. "The Balch Gen., p.84," gives Ebenezer Lord Harmon mar. Sept. 26, 1830, and states he was son of William Harmon of Braintree, Mass., who mar. Eunice Balch about 1794, she born, April 4, 1771. They resided at Edwards, N.Y.

VII.1297. Hannah Dyantha Maltby, b. Nov. 7, 1832, Ontario, Wayne Co., N.Y. (Horace 6, Jos.5, Jos.4, Jos.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. Oct. 8, 1851, Uriah Robison. He enlisted in a Vol. Co. Reg. in Civil War. Died in hospital from a gunshot wound in battle, 1863. He lies in the National Cemetery at Arlington, Va.

She mar. (2) Peter Vanderwarka, who d. July 8, 1895. (Records by Hannah Dyantha).

VII.1298. Horace John Maltby, b. June 25, 1834, Wayne Co., N.Y. (Horace 6, Jos.5, Jos.4, Jos.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Civil War, Comp. C., 148th Reg. P.V.I., shot in battle, died May 11, 1864, "Shot in fore- head May 10th, died next day, at the battle of the Wilderness, offici- ally recorded "Poe River," he was buried from the field hospital and later removed to the National Cemetery, at Fredericksburg, Va.

VII.1299. Rachel Amanda Maltby, b. Mar. 21, 1836, Webster, N.Y. (Horace 6, Jos.5, Jos.4, Jos.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. June 14, 1863, Gameliel Roe, who d. Aug. 28, 1903. She d. May 31, 1899. (Records by her son, Emory D. Roe).
