VI.1091. Harriet Phelps Trowbridge, b. May 30, 1859 (Morgan J. Trow- bridge 5, Abigail Russell 4, Sarah 3, Sam.2, Wm.1). Mar. May 17, 1888, Samuel Anderson. Res. Syracuse, N.Y.
Note. These Trowbridges, who were of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and other places in N.Y. were 3rd cousins of the grandchildren of Jonathan 4 Molbey (Maltby) a first cousin of Abigail 4 Russell.
VI.1092. Sally Ann Maltbie, bp. Dec. 3, 1807, Fairfield, Ct., Epis- copal Church. (John 5, Jthon.4, Jthon.3, Jthon.2, Wm.1).
Miss Yates calls her "sister of Rebecca Maltbie, but bapt. as child of Capt. Jonathan Maltby or Mallbly."
It is claimed that after the death of her father in 1816, her mother, Rachel Mason, mar. Mr. Medeef Eden of New York, and she was adopted by him, and her name changed to Eden.
VI.1093. Elizabeth Mallbly, bapt. Dec. 3, 1807, Fairfield, Ct., Epis- copal Church. (John 5, Jthon.4, Jthon.3, Jthon.2, Wm.1). She also, it is claimed, changed her name to Eden. Miss Ethel C. Yates of Cam- den, S. Carolina, states that she married a Mr. Guillette. Miss Yates owns a miniature of her.
VI.1094. Rebecca Maltbee, bapt. 10 Jan. 1809, Fairfield, Ct., Epis- copal Church. (John 5, Jthon.4, Jthon.3, Jthon.2, Wm.1). Called "Rebecca Wheeler" by Miss Yates, who gives her birth as 1808, and states she married Governor John Lide Wilson of South Carolina, from whom Miss Yates descends. (Her great-grandparents).
VI.1095. William Maltbie Rowland, b. 1795 (Sarah 5, Jthon.4, Jthon.3, Jthon.2, Wm.1). He died in 1869.

VI.1096. George Rowland, b. Dec. 3, 1796 (Sarah, Jthon.4, Jthon.3, Jthon.2, Wm.1). Mar. Ruth Caroline Atwater, dau. of Elnathan and Ruth C. (Parmelee) Atwater of New Haven. Family Bible gives the marriage as Sept. 11, 1837. His 2nd wife was ---- Cooper, of New Haven. Ruth was b. Apr. 29, 1799 and died Sept. 11, 1837.
