VI.1064. Samuel Molby, b. Mar. 10, 1815, in Town of Van Buren (then a part of Town Camillus), Onondaga Co., N.Y. (Chester 5, Jonathan 4, Sam.3, Sam.2, Wm.1). Mar. March 10, 1836, Orillas (or Rillar) Delight Griffeth, b. Mar. 21, 1814, Onondaga Co., N.Y. (for birthplace, see Samuel Molby, Census 1855, Van Buren Town.

Her father, Carey R. Griffeth and mother Nancy, were of the Town of Lysander (same county), sold land in Lot 83 in the year 1833. How long they had been there is unknown to the compiler. Miss Lesley E. Voorhees of Baldwinsville, N.Y., traced most all of the informa- tion concerning the Griffeths, as reported here.

From information in what is below, the family of son "Aron" lived with lone widower, Cary R. Griffeth. There were then four of Aron's family in above listing.

Will of Cary R. Griffeth, of Van Buren, Surrogate O. Co. Rec- ord, Book I (eye) p. 458, Wit. Oct. 11, 1851, Pr. 11/7/51.

Bequests made to daughter Orillas Delight Griffeth, (called Rillar) and Samuel Molby..

Bequest to dau. Mary Featherstone, wife of Robert Featherstone ($1.00!).

Bequest to son Aaron Griffeth, the greater part of the estate.

Mentioned a tenure of property 10 years to Robert Griffin.

          Sole Executor,  "And lastly I appoint my friend Belding

"Aaron Griffeth married Mary Cornell, dau. of Pardon Cornell and Lydia (-------) Cornell. They had four children:

    "1. Charlotte Griffeth, b. Oct. 24, 1844; d. Mar. 24, 1865; mar.
        Alvin Munsil.  She is buried in Baldwinsville, N.Y."
    "2. Cary R. Griffeth" (2nd?), b. April 1, 1849, date of birth
        furnished by his son LeRoy), "b. 1849; d. 1930; mar. Nettie
        Parks, (1855-1913).  Both buried Warners, N.Y."
           "Had six children:" (order of birth not given, but LeRoy
            said Ray was older then he), "Mary Jane, LeRoy, Ray,
            Arthur, Frances, Cary."  (Cary R. 3?)
