VI.919. Daniel Smith Cooper, b. Oct. 4, 1819 (Emily Linsley 5, Sarah 4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. July 8, 1840, Almira Nott of New Haven, Ct. He was 91 years old in Oct. 1910, and furnished these records. He d. Nov. 1914, according to his cousin Hannah (6) Linsley of North- ford.

VI.923. Julia Ann Cooper, b. ----, a mute. (Emelia Linsley 5, Sarah 4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. William Averill, a mute. Both were edu- cated at Hartford Asylum. She was about 85 or 86 in 1910, her husband was dead. She resided in New Britain, Ct. It is interesting to learn that all their children had their sense of hearing. According to Miss Hannah Linsley, Julia died about 1916.

VI.939. Capt. James Halsey Linsley, b. Sept. 6, 1835 (John S. Linsley 5, Sarah 4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Was born at Northford and lived there. Grad. New Britain Normal School, 1857. He taught school be- fore the war. Served 4 years in the army and returned as Capt. of Co. C., 10th Conn. Vol. He took part in 62 battles. Was twice wound- ed, in the head and a third time in the thigh. Served in Conn. Legislature. Mar. Sept. 19, 1865 at Thetford, Vt., to Katherine Dean Conant, dau. of Dean Conant and Almira (Bonney) Conant. Capt. Linsley died Dec. 2, 1903, ae. 69. His wife d. June 22, 1915. They and son Arthur were buried in the Northford Cemetery.

     Children:
VII.1956. *Eleanor Bonney Linsley, b. Mar. 20, 1870, Northford, mar.
               (1) Albert B. Johnson; m. (2) Albert L. Rogers.
     *Mrs. Rogers has been of great assistance with records and has
       many interesting relics of Maltby and Linsley families.
