Generation
(Silliman) Page, who was son of John Page, who mar. Nov. 30, 1786, Rosanna (Coe) widow of Samuel (4) Maltby (Sam.3, Sam.2, Wm.1). I never heard there were Page children, but apparently Rosanna has Rosanna, Isaac, above, and Amy. (The Page's would not have Maltby blood). Emelia Maltby was born in the West Indies, where her father had a West India trade. It is not quite clear if this record refers to Emelia or Philomela Silliman. (On Nov. 7, 1906, following my marriage in Los Angelos, California, my husband and I drove to Pasa- dena where I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Page who was living with her son and his wife, Dr. Benjamin Maltby Page. It was this Page family and Mrs. Cushman who often spoke to me about "your Judd cousins of Honolulu." It is strange, for though we wrote often I have not the date of the year of Dr. Page's birth, probably about 1847/8. He was born July 18, ----." She rec. Northford Ch. Apr. 4, 1836. "Mar. VI.886. Charles De Witt Maltby, b. July 17, 1822 (Sam.5, Benj.4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Mar. Sept. 18, 1845, Mary Augusta Linsley, dau. of Col. Eliakim and Jennette (Hall) Linsley of Northford. He was received into the Church at Northford, Aug. 9, 1840.
Jeanette Hall of Wallingford was b. Feb. 18, 1823, dau. of Aaron Hall, and resided at Northford. (Eliakim Linsley 7, Josiah J.6, Josiah 5, Joseph 4, John 3, John 2, John 1). Charles DeWitt Maltby d. Mar. 1, 1881. (Major Linsley does not call Eliakim "Colonel").
