VI.660. Julia Maltby, b. (Stephen Lee 5, Wm. 4, Jos. 3, Dan. 2, Wm. 1). "Married a Mr. Stoddard. They went to Dakota and had a daughter, who had two children." Another record is: "Moved to Dako- ta and all died there but one. One of Aunt Julia's grandchildren is Stoddard Kimball, he visited W. H. Maltby at Elba in 1914, was in poor health and intended to move his family to Southern N.Y. State."

VI.661. Sarah Jane Maltby, b. (Stephen Lee 5, Wm. 4, Jos. 3, Dan. 2, Wm. 1). Mar. Feb. 6, 1834, Lucuis Collins Child (brother of Maria Newton Child, who mar. Stephen Lee (6) Maltby). She is called "niece of Mrs. Benjamin (Persis Child) Maltby." Lucuis Child was b. at Thetford, Vt., Aug. 26, 1808.

VI.664. Norman Maltby, b. Apr. 15, 1804, Vernon, Oneida Co., N.Y. (John 5, Wm. 4, Jos. 3, Dan. 2, Wm. 1). Born on his father's farm, near Vernon Centre, Oneida Co., N.Y. When he was about eighteen years of age, on account of his health, it was recommended that he take a sea voyage and he went on a sailing vessel to England. During the voyage an incident occured which he often related.
